1. Straight memorisation by learning covering up and then recalling chunks/ lists of information. revision work books also help.

2. Past papers force you to recall and apply information. Practice, practice practice and it will start to go in.

Untimed + books
Timed + books.
Untimed + no books.

colour code them! I find that mindmaps help me to recollect everything. After I do a mindmap I just do practice questions, it's the best thing in my opinion

To revise from mind maps I use this technique called "blurting". Studytuber UnJaded Jade explains it better, but essentially you put some headings down and "blurt" down everything you know for like 10 mins or something without any help from revision notes/guides. Then you go back and look at the things you missed out with notes and things, and and it's a very good technique for active recall and memorising mind map info. UnJaded Jade does explain this better than I do, so if you just search UnJaded Jade Blurting on YouTube then you'll be able to find the video. Hope this helps!
