resources list

here are a few of my recommendations:
all websites/ youtube accounts linked

-textbooks: from cgp, collins, letts, york notes, pearson etc. can be found cheap on amazon/ebay.
-educake: science quizzes (website)
-seneca: lessons and quiz 2-in-1 (website)
-mymaths: maths lessons and tests (website)
-bbc bitesize: notes (website and app)
-duolingo: language tests, comprehension and podcasts (website and app)
-savemyexams: maths and science tests (website)
-TSR of course
-LitCharts: english literature guides and notes (website)
-SparkNotes: general guides, a lot of shakespeare (website)
-writingexercises.com: can be used for english writing practice
-revisionworld.com: notes, links papers
-tes.com/teaching-resources: worksheets, powerpoints
-studywise.co.uk: links, specs, papers
-mathsgenie.co.uk: maths notes, tests, papers
-mrbartonmaths.com: ...everything maths-based tbh
-quizlet: flashcard sets (website and app)
-memrise: language vocab (website and app)
-collins.co.uk/page/collinsgcserevision/flashcards: printable flashcards
-instagram accounts: eg; @ srmsgcse2018, @ snaprevise (also a website), @ gcse_.revision, @ biologysnippets, @ poppinstudyin, @ me.vs.gcses, @ science_with_jen, @ sciencerevision (big problem w/ some of these is that they just post pretty notes which are essentially unreadable because of positioning and presentation etc- they're good for the aesthetic i guess) also the gcse hashtags are pretty good to follow
-youtube accounts: eg; FreeScienceLessons, Primrose Kitten, myGCSEscience, Hegarty Maths, WrightMaths, Syed Institute, MrBruff, Crash Course, UKMathsTeacher, Revision with Eve, UnJaded Jade

if you add anymore suggestions below, please link them if you can. feel free to plug your own accounts etc, god knows i have. good luck with revision and exams! :flip:
(sorry if anyone's done this before, just saw a lot of people asking for resources)

For languages (German,Spanish and French), I would recommend the app Lingvist! It might only be for Apple idk. It’s very repetitive but I like that, and it gives you some useful phrases&new vocab
Posted on the TSR App. Download from Apple or Google Play

Just remembered that http://www.languagesonline.org.uk/Hotpotatoes/Index.htm is really good for grammar (though I always forget about it!)

aha, well if you 'only' get an 8, that still counts as an A* so it's really not that much of a slip! grades aren't the end of the world and they're extremely unlikely to ruin your life. plus, you'll probably be disappointed at some results and pleasantly surprised at others- it'll turn out fine, as long as you put lots of work in now (but don't overwork yourself either!)
