How to get BAND 7/8/9 In English Literature

If you look at requirements for 26-30 marks (

you are required to be critical, judacious and exploratory. This all means your ideas have to be original, explore different alternative ideas and pick concise evidence out you can say a lot about. Your introduction and conclusion need to be critical where you evaluate the whole task and writers method.

In terms of originals and exploratory content its really up to you, examiners would want to see something original, and as good as CGP books are you should ditch them and try either York Notes or Collins snap revision books purely because everyone uses CGP instead so it is hard to maintain originality.

At this point in time you shouldn't be doing much revision but more exam practice heres some Macbeth questions:

the more of these you do the more you can improve on your exam technique.
