How Could a 15 Year-Old Prepare for Medicine?

I'd like to get some work experience and volunteering under my belt. Does anyone have any advice on what to look for and how to look for it?

Care homes, hospitals, GP practices, potentially pharmacies.

Do some research

I'm always restricted by my age however, and there's not many local care homes. I did try last week but I practically got laughed off. I really don't know what to do...? Thanks anyway

Work exp isn't really a big deal - if I were you I'd invest my time into voluntary work somewhere like a charity shop with a cause you actually support. Then getting 2 weeks of work experience the summer before you apply is fine, as long as you frame it well in your ps.
An applicant who can reflect on a weeks worth of shadowing is far more likely to succeed in applications than someone who has done months but not thought about it.
