To my knowledge, they are aimed at people who are in the third year of their law degree and beyond. I might be wrong - it's worth emailing somebody associate with the course.

Notoriety

It's not so much the Level 300 which is the bother; it's the content of the course which is usually advanced. Doesn't mean the assessment or rigour of the course is; they don't even require you to complete the assessment.

In essence, your task is "vaguely follow what is being said in lectures" with no requirement you actually appreciate the nuances of the area of law.
