Basically I have a hairdresser appointment tomorrow for the first time in two years (bad experiences) so I want to know what comes under a "cut and finish" e.g if I had about 4 inches off would that come under it?

just tell em in the chair what you want dont be nervous

they dont do anything different to your hair than you would do ...

they wash...dry..blow it out...style..moisturise and holding spray or whatever you want

The finishing , the most important part of a haircut, is not done in greater than 90% of salons in America, unlike France
