So I’m in year 9 and I’m closer to my GCSE’s. I’m in the second top sets in my subjects which I am proud of but I’m failing in science quite badly (especially chemistry and physics) what are the best revision booklets that could actually help me make a difference in my learning towards science. I really do want to get better but I just need to know what will actually help me in my studies. Thank you.

CGP revision books are usually your best bet. Read through them and create revision flashcards on anything that you might be unsure of.

Hey, I was literally in your position when I was in year 9. I was getting incredibly low grades in science but now I'm in my second year of A Level biology and have got offers from Russell group Unis for biological sciences (thanks to god). I feel like in KS3 there is no real set curriculum and that's why the tests are so confusing. However ask your teachers for help; ask them for checklists and for the specification, go through it intensively making sure you actually do understand the content, watch YouTube videos- there are loads online! What you are learning now will be the foundation for your gcse knowledge. Do loads of past papers/questions and look for patterns in the wording of questions. I hope that helped- good luck!!
