What is the hype over water beds?

I don't understand what is so good about having a water bed, like why do so many people want to buy it, what's wrong with normal beds?

Does anyone have a water bed?
How much would you rate it out of 10?
And if yes, why do you like owning one?
I thought water beds were like... a 70s thing :holmes:

Are they in fashion again?

They're fun to sit on but I'd hate to sleep on one.
Yeh -are water beds even a thing? Ive never seen one for real, only on TV - and then maybe not even real TV, just cartoons maybe.

I'm not even sure they ever existed for real.

Lol yes they always have been (I think) one of my mates has one and she kept going on about it.

Badgers are definitely a myth. I've never seen a real live one and the ones on TV are obviously CGI or puppets.

I literally just want a bed, idc if its water, mattress or anything else. Fed up of sleeping on sofa cushions
No idea myself, I've slept in one once and it was pretty uncomfortable

I guess its fun for kids but can't imagine why any adult would want one
