Hi guys. My teacher gave us one session where he read through the work and gave minimal feedback (which obviously is all he is allowed to do because AQA loves us) however he indirectly suggested changing my historians as he said my comparison and the limitations I provided were minimal and very basic.

Hi guys. My teacher gave us one session where he read through the work and gave minimal feedback (which obviously is all he is allowed to do because AQA loves us) however he indirectly suggested changing my historians as he said my comparison and the limitations I provided were minimal and very basic.

He also suggested that I need historians who have a specific contextual background or political views that I can use for the limitations to their argument.

However, the historians I found were modern historians who don't really have any contextual or political motives that would contribute to their views on Tudor rebellions, and I can't seem to find any other historians whose contextual background or political motives have any limitations to their argument about rebellions.

My topic is about Tudor rebellions and taxation.

I really need help guys, if anyone studying this topic knows of any historians I could possibly use THEN PLEASE HELP, for reference one of my historians was john guy and my teacher hinted that he was just overhyped and didn’t really help my coursework. I've also searched half of google trying to find historians who may be relevant, but it aint happening

I don’t know what to do, I need an A in history overall and my coursework looks like it is around an e/ low D (my teacher hinted it was half the marks). My question could simply be the reason why I’m struggling to get anywhere with this coursework. But with the deadline looming and no one providing any help (stupid aqa and their dumb rules about teachers not helping) I am really stuck.

Lastly considering my coursework is 20% and the exams are 40% each, is an A even achievable now? Should I just give up? Man, alevel history suckssssssssssssss.

Thanks for any help.
Hi, If I have understood what you have said correctly then these are some of the names, below. If I haven't let me know but here are some tips for finding academics and scholars in a particular field. -when you type in a name make sure you put 'Tudor Rebellion' after it - Google scholar will give you ideas to find key thinkers in the field. - Also, bibliographies on textbooks or research is a great way to find out who has written and focused on this time period. - Also typing '.pdf' after Tudor rebellion might allow you to download for free books on the subjects or chapters of relevant books.

I found these just by doing a quick search with pdf. after both subject and Historian's names.

It only took five minutes to do all this once you do these steps it is very quick. Good luck
