Music and Studying...?

I wanna know how you guys study.
Is it with or without music? If you do have music on which do you play?
I tried studying with music but whenever I had to do a certain problem it would be so distracting but without it things tend to get boring.
Any advice?
I use music, but it's always instrumental. I look up 'programming music' on YouTube and play those, they're intense and feel good for focusing

Depends what music it is. There are studies that have shown that listening to classical music helps. If it’s music with lyrics in it, it can be distracting
I always have a record playing
