I was reading a thread about height and this question came up in my mind.
So, how tall is tall?
I'm 5' 10", is that tall? average? or short?

Ok as a serious answer it depends on gender, i'd say 5"7 is tall for a girl, 6"0 is tall for a guy.

I'm only 5'4 and i consider that extremely short! But my mum is 5'7 and she says shes just abover average so i think 6'+ is tall. My brother is about 6'2 and he towers over me

5'4 isn't that short for a girl. Most blokes prefer shorter girls anyway. Anything over 5 foot is great.

For females I'd say 5ft7/8+ is tall. For males, about 6ft+ is tall.

5'4 isn't that short for a girl. Most blokes prefer shorter girls anyway. Anything over 5 foot is great.
I am one of the shortest in my year though (11) and it doesn't help being overweight

girls: 5'6" = average, 5'8"+ = tall
boys: 5'10 = average, 6 ft + = tall

Well I'm tall for a girl lol, but for a guy I'm short.......5'7.3" according to the electronic scales at my gym.

A lot of guys might not want to date a girl who is taller than them......not me though, I don't mind, but if they wore heels as well that just adds insult to injury lol.
