Need some help with accommodation dates

I’m applying for accommodation in London for SOAS and I’m a little confused, because it’s asking me for dates for arrival and departure from the accommodation. I would put September 2018 to August 2019 but I don’t want to loose out on rent- can anyone help at all??

Strange. I haven't been asked to specify any dates. I have applied thorugh Sanctuary.

Could you send me a link? I was sent an application via SOAS and it’s pretty confusing

Once you have applied through SOAS you still have to apply through the estate agent. It doesn't make much sense but that is the information I have.
