Could somebody please go through each the different types of word types you might want to use when writing a literature essay with their definitions, such as modal verbs, dynamic verbs, the different noun types etc please as it would be much appreciated.

Why on earth do you need to know all these things. I got a 9 in both English Lit and Lang and i didn't know what a verb was until year 10, you don't need to know all this crap - just memorise the answers
