Tbh it was easier than what I expected the texts were quite easy to analyse. Not sure about the writing bit though

Below is a detailed analyszed list for those revising last momnet.Edexcel in the syllabus(2011-) does not tend to repeat itself therefore there is an avergae gap for 3-6 series before another exam article is tested therefore i believe what i predict will be right(80-90%) for section A,THOUGH THE LIST helps in B.
1.all texts have been tested 2 times apart from a few therefore i would concerntrate on them.
2.donot revise recent ones as you will waste your time

my prediction(text by text)

1.beach safety- has been ested LAT YEAR and has been tested 0% chance of coming
2.Touching the void was last in june 15' but has been tested twice but still do it.(70% chance)
3.climate change(webpage)- tested last in 2016 so we are most likely safe from this annoying article although tested 1 time :P. sp 60% chance
4. climate change(facts)- TESTED 1 TIME BEFORE 2015 THEREFORE IS MY PREDICTION (85% CHANCE)
5. game of polo tested 2 times last in 16' may also be tested (70%)
6. passage to africa was last jan 17 so no
7.explores or boys 1 time so this my 2nd prediction. so this or web page in R
8.taking on the world- if you revised this your an idiot who wasted your time,was tested in jan 2018
9.chinese cinderella -nope dont revise

section B

so my predictions in A were right for those following e.

PREDICTIONS FOR B

1.disabled- IT CAME IN Jan 2017. so it will not appear
2. out out- has been tested 2 times but was 5 series ago so may test it(50%)
3.refugee blues- came 2 times but tested last in june 15-R so ay come if edexcel are in a bad mood(50%)
4.an unknown girl- this has come 1 ime last way back in June 2015
5, electricty.....- not coming nope 0% just in 2017
6. LAST NIGHT- NOPE 0% WAS LAST YEAR
7. veronica- came 1 time way back in jan 16 *would definately do this*
8. necklace- nope came in jan
9. a hero has come 2 times back so no chance
10- king shariar came in 2015 once

so my prediction is 1.king shariar and unknown girl

I too agree with kevin. Most probably king schahriar will come second paper. Because I appeared once, that too in a January paper. Unknown girl has also repeated once but it was in a June paper.

anyone do the r paper for the old specification paper 1. if you could tell me what came, it could help me predict what could come for paper 2.
also, even I think king schahriar will come cuz it's never come in June bfr and only came once.
refugee blues won't come since it came once bfr and it was paired with climate change the facts so I doubt they'll repeat that combination again.

so if anyone did paper 1R for old spec pls tell what came thxx

For Edexcel English language a (new spec) the anthology was “Story of an Hour” and you had to present the character sketch of Mrs. Mallard.

For imaginative writting:
Q2 write about a success in life that mattered to you or someone you know

OR

Q3 write a story titled: “A Surprise Visitor”

OR

Q4 The picture prompts were:
An image of long queue of cars in a traffic jam on a highway.

Second image had a clock showing the it’s last minute to the deadline. (It had deadline written instead of 12 and the hands read 11:59)

Hopefully people sitting the next exams will benefit from this.
