I’m currently in year 12 studying health and social care. However, I’d love to become a constable detective for the metropolitan police, but I have to be 18 before I can start that path. I hate studying health and social care, but I don’t want to spend 2 years doing nothing. I would love to drop out of school and begin a training course for the police if possible. I’m turning 17 this June. I would love to know if there is anything I can do before applying for the constable detective role when I’m 18
