Well, I'm not quite sure how York interviews work. I think the website has these questions they're supposedly bound to ask you. I would just think those questions through carefully before the interview and relax really!

try the thread "Law at York" and good luck.
Are York making only AAA offers, or has anyone been offered anything less??????

Hi folks,

As admissions tutor at York Law School I thought I should clarify a couple of things:

1) The questions in the question bank are indicative of the type of questions you'll be asked. Not all the questions you're actually asked will be in there, but they'll be of a broadly similar type. The first paragraph in the question bank should make this quite clear.

2) Our standard offer is AAA, across the board. It's not something we can change, but if you have any concerns or questions, feel free to get in touch, and I'll answer you as best I can. Emails sent from this site go to my university address, but you can also use the link on our webpage.

I would like to ask just out of the pure curiosity - is presence of York Law School admissions tutor and the head of the law school ( http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showpost.php?p=10535050&postcount=7 ) at TSR a coincidence or have you adopted a new form of "reaching" to prospective students ?

Well, we do say that we do things differently....

Actually, it's simply that since a number of students come here for queries and clarifications, it makes sense to keep an eye on the forum and post responses if there's a need.

We're the real deal, I'm afraid(?)...(although I quite like the idea of someone spending valuable time trying to imitate me...)

First time I logged on was as a result of being told about a post which was about the Law School and which clearly was based upon a misunderstanding. I felt under some sort of obligation to correct it. Subsequently I've logged on occasionally just to see what is being said.

No grand fraud or conspiracy - a simple effort to try and ensure that people have the best evidence upon which to base very important decisions.

Well im in a kinda unique position hence my early one off interview, i applied for Politics for 2014 deferred entry last year, then decided i wanted to switch to law after the politics offer was accepted. i got the grades so there was no problem with this, except for the fact law requires an interview so im doing that in october so if i fail it i can still have time to apply through UCAS for 2014 elsewhere

So I had my interview, it went well, I was asked nice questions. But they only asked me 5 questions, instead of 7 as they stated in the beginning, I was nervous so I might have repeated myself, do you think that is good or bad? I really don't understand why they didn't go on with the other 2....

I forgot to mention, we only spoke for 12 minutes instead of 20.
