Edinburgh vs Birmingham Medicine

Hi, I'm struggling to decide between Edinburgh and Birmingham medicine for my insurance choice, edinburgh wants AAA (inc chem and bio) and birmingham wants AAAB (with an A in chem and bio). The subject I'm most worried about is chem.
I really liked both unis when visiting and the course for both seemed to suit my learning style. Birmingham is a lot closer to home though but it is a lot larger and I'm not sure how much I'd fit in there.
I'm slightly worried about my future if Scotland ends up leaving the UK within the next 6 years.
Any opinions/advice would be much appreciated.

Look at course content/teaching style, look at the amount of contact you get with real patients, look at opportunities for extra units/subjects.

Look at cost of housing/transport. Look at the Open Day and tourist films for each city on You Tube.

Make a list of the positives and negatives for each Uni. Stick in on the wall. Look at it carefully every day for the next week.
Make your decision.
