Eye disorder corrections and prescriptions (Edexcel)

Hi,
I'm studying Edexcel AS Physics with an exam in a few weeks.
We've just been taught about lenses and ray diagrams and stuff, and, following that, about eye problems and correcting them (e.g. Presbyopia, Myopia, short-sightedness, long-sightedness), as well as about how to read lens/optician prescriptions.
However, I've just had a look at Edexcel's specification
https://qualifications.pearson.com/content/dam/pdf/A%20Level/Physics/2015/Specification%20and%20sample%20assessments/PearsonEdexcel-AS-Physics-Spec.pdf
and I can't find anything about any eye disorders or prescriptions at all.

I'd be grateful if anyone else doing the same course could tell me if they've been taught this and whether I should trust my teacher or the spec!

Thanks
