Let the number of £1 coins be 2x, and the number of £2 coins be x

Can you write an algebraic expression for how much money she therefore has in pounds.
You then just equal that to 100.

I don't know
She has 50 £1 coins, and 25 £2 coins. Can the answer be this simple?
