Occupational Therapy & childcare

I’m looking to apply to study occupational therapy in 2019. I will have a 10 month old child by that time and don’t have the luxury of having parents on hand for baby sitting whenever I want, also my partner is in the military and works away constantly so I will be relying on paying for childcare. I just to know if it will all still be possible especially during placements? Will there be a lot of night shifts involved in the placements?
Hi - sorry you haven't had a response to this yet. I'm just going to bump the thread in the hope that someone sees this and can help :h:

Why do I this?

Hi Jayne,

Thank you for getting in contact,

The occupational therapy course does involve placements and depending on where your placement is will determine the hours you work. For specialist information about the course it will be better if you contact one of the senior lecturers on the program who will give you the information you need. Please see the link below for senior lecturers on the course:

In terms of childcare, Northumbria offer a range of support for parents. For more information about childcare, follow the link below and this should have everything you need:

I hope this has helped you,

Thanks,

Kyle.
