Keep hearing rape alarms in my neighbourhood

On Thursday night a rape alarm went off on my road. I couldn't see anyone but obviously the noise was deafening and a couple other people were looking out of their windows. It went on for around 20-30 minutes.

Then early this morning another rape alarm went off and woke me up. Again couldn't see anything when I looked outside and it was around 8am which is a bit weird because it was light outside. Again it went on for 20+ minutes.

What do you make of this? I don't know if it's someone messing around or if people have actually been in danger. The one at 8am confuses me. Also they were definitely rape alarms, I have one as well and I know the sound.

I live in a student area but there are a lot of locals as well. Not the nicest of areas but it's mostly drug dealing and people hanging out on corners.

Plot their exact locations on a map, then triangulate the point of origin, and nail the f**ker.

Can assure you that's not the case. I was already awake the first time.
