First time sex - felt nothing

Please don't de-anon this.

Last night I had sex with my girlfriend (who I've actually only been going out with for a few days, bad I know), which was my first time. She knew I had never had sex before and was brilliant about it. We both took an equal share in the position and what-not. I made her orgasm, but the problem was that I hardly felt anything, and didn't even get compeltely erect, although it was enough. I just want to know if this is normal. I was nervous, and sort of regret this morning having sex so early in our relationship. We were both also tipsy after going out.

Cheers!

It was almost certainly the booze. Don't worry too much.

Contrary to popular belief, your first few times are utterly crap, even as a man. At least they were for me. I just kept thinking "is that what I've been waiting all this time for?"

It's only 4-5 years on that I'm able to say that sex is starting to live up to its expectations, a lot of it has to do with your partner, and believe me when I say having an "equal share in the positions" is not enough.
Did you have foreplay involving a lot of rubbing? Plus drinking has a negative effect on your ability to get it up, plus you have sensitivity in your penis once you've benn drinking. Next time have sex sober and see how it goes i'm pretty certain you'll feel something.

You didnt use one of those durex condoms thats ment to make you last longer by any chance? The lube on it has a pretty potent anaesthetic in it which would explain you not being able to feel a thing.

I was very nervous to begin with, didnt come the first couple of times. and there were issues the first try shall we say.

I used a Durex but it wasn't one of those ones which are supposed to make you last longer, just the one where it's 'more sensual'. I am hoping that booze (I wasn't hammered or even drunk, just tipsy) was a reason. I am also just hoping that the fact that I was nervous about it meaning I didn't feel much is 'normal'.

it could have been any number of reasons to be honest. i think the most likely being nerves.
try aggain and see if its better
Damn you made her come first time 0.0 :congrats:

To be fair you got her off and that's harder usually than yourself so just give it another go. I'm sure it was just that you were nervous and a bit pissed. Happens to the best of us...
Being honest here, my first time we were both wasted, didn't go so well. Luckily she didn't remember, so we tried again a few nights later, and it was crap, I barely felt a thing. Honest to God I'd have preferred to have done the job myself, so to speak.

Don't worry the first few times you will be nervous. It is just going to take some time before you feel comfortable. Keep trying and things should get better.
I don't know about you limp-dicks but drinking doesn't impede my ability to get it up at all. It makes me last longer, depending on how drunk I am I can go for hooours.

For you it was probably just the drink and the nerves though. It's fine having sex in or out a relationship or however long it has lasted, aslong as you enjoy it. Give it another go when you're ready and take it easy, don't be scared, just relax.

Yeh, jealous? Look at you running around trying to impress chicks with your namby-pamby 3 hand watch, measuring seconds. Pah!
what you drink also has an effect.
Me and my girlfriend both dislike beer, cider, etc, in prefrence for vodka, and so far, no problems!
Wow... i sound like one helluva alky... heh.
