Will have to try it! But whenever I eat chips its almost always with cheese.

Can't say no to cheese when drunk.
I was having this conversation with my housemates the other night about burger sauce...am quite disappointed its just mayo and ketchup, kinda hoped it had some magical extra ingredient!

Yeah it's just a mix of ketchup and mayo.

add some sweet relish to the mix of tomato sauce and mayo and its even better!
cheesy chips + burger sauce = yummmmy

Try mayonnaise, tomato puree/passata, cayenne pepper, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and salt. That's like a retro Mary Rose sauce. I think its better than just mayo/chup.

Sorry to drag old thread up, but you can buy this stuff in pretty much any wholesale place like Costco or Makro. I bought a tall litre bottle (like McDonalds etc. use) for about £1.50, and it lasts ages.

Here's the ingredients list typed off the bottle:

Water, Vegetable Oil, Tomato Ketchup, Spirit Vinegar, Pasteurised Egg Yolk, Salt, Modified Maize Starch, Stabiliser: Xanthan Gum, Acetic Acid, Dill Flavouring, Preservative: Potassium Sorbate, Onion Powder, Mustard Flavouring Oil, Colour Caramel, Paprika Powder, Paprika Extract.

This is the same sauce used in Big Macs at McD.

Ah thankyou! I can't make it myself cos handling mayo on it's own makes me feel sick (wierd psychological thing lol) but I still love burger sauce!

Never been a fan of burger sauce. Can't stand the stuff. Cheesy chips on the other hand, always goes down a treat.

Fries with burger sauce or cheese and mayonnaise (lots of mayonnaise) is amazing
