Hey guys

Hopeing that by starting this thread I'll be able to get to know some other students that will be starting Bucks in September 2018 so its not as daunting on the first day.

I'll be studying childrens nursing to be precise

Katie

We're looking forward to welcoming you in September @KLouTayler!

Don't panic that you've not heard back from anyone else yet, you'll meet loads of new students and settle in quickly I'm sure!

Hi Katie I’m starting New Bucks Adult Nursing September 2018. I’ve been waiting about a month for a letter or a welcome pack but I haven’t received anything in the post yet. I’m excited and can’t wait to start!!

Congratulations on your place! I know what you mean about the welcome pack/letter, each week I expect to receive something. I don’t like this limbo stage of accepting the offer then waiting to start, I’m soo impatient 🙈Will you be commuting to Uni from home?

I was thinking that maybe they send out the welcome letters around the same time? Maybe after the A level student have done their exams and all that? Or maybe I’m completely wrong. live in Windsor so it will just be a 20 min drive for me. What about you? X

That’s a vey valid point, I hadn’t considered that! So potentially August time?! 😩 I’m in Aylesbury so about 45 minutes for me but still not to bad! X

Hi all,

Just to let you know that we're in the process of finalising the welcome information and joining instructions for students starting our nursing courses this September. They should be sent out by the end of June...so just a bit longer for you to wait I'm afraid! :colondollar:

Great to see you're all super keen though. We're looking forward to you joining us in September!

Let me know if you have any questions before then.

After a bit of fiddling around, I’ll be joining September 2018 instead of February 2019! I’m on the BSc Nursing (Adults) - and luckily my commute is very short (one stop on the tube).

Amazing news @tashachelsea13! What stage is your application at? Are you holding an unconditional offer, and have you firmly accepted it? If so, the next thing to do would be to wait to receive your joining instructions from us. This will have some forms to fill in to get your ID card, and will also have some other bits for you to complete before you start. Also recommend sorting your finances and your accommodation if you haven't done so already.

Hope this helps, but let me know if you have questions about anything specific!

We look forward to welcoming you to Bucks! :h:

Hi @Wealtg

Can I ask when you submitted your application to us? And what stage your application is currently at? If you send me a PM with your UCAS ID number and full name I can look into this for you.

Thanks

Laura

Hi @Wealtg

Looks like we're waiting on your access course results? Have you received your certificates yet and sent them in to us? If not, please send these over to [email protected]. If you have any other specific questions regarding your application, do feel free to call our nursing team on 01494 603172.

Thanks

Laura
