Thinking about doing one as I don't want to go to University. Nothing interests me though expect personal trainer but it is level 3 and poorly paid so does not seem worthwhile

    Hi there,

Apprenticeships are a great way to start your career and earn while you learn!

Have you tried looking for vacancies on Find an apprenticeship, you can filter your results to your location, preferences and entry requirements. Start with a broad search, eg. 'sport', so you have a wider variety of results to search through. You can set up alerts for your filtered vacancy searches too, so you will know as soon as one has gone live.

I would also suggest looking specifically on company's websites, they may have information about their upcoming apprenticeships or even live vacancies!

I have also added a few links below that have more information about apprenticeships:

Keep looking and I hope this helps

    Hi there,

The main time frame that large apprenticeship schemes open their applications are September-December.

However, apprenticeship vacancies do appear all year round. Keep looking on larger companies career sites to see if they have any openings and don't forget to set up alerts on Find an apprenticeship, they can be very handy at times. Create an account here and set up your alerts:

    Be patient and keep looking
