I'm unsure as to what exam board my college is going through with the EPQ but I believe that it is AQA. I am struggling to decide what topic I am wishing to do mine on. Below are three ideas please let me know which you believe is better/ any others that may come to mind. Thanks.

Do civil right movements gain their biggest advancements after a conflict?
Civil War, WW1, WW2 etc. (I was thinking African American)

Are modern movies accurate when depicting historical events?
Potential movie Hacksaw Ridge, Hidden Figures, Dunkirk, Suffragettes

Are old programming languages obsolete in modern technology?
    E.G. Pascal, Fortran, COBOL.
    Vs python

P.S. I am wanting to study computer science at uni but I don't know if the title is too descriptive.

    1. Is interesting, but you have to chart progression of civil rights movements and tie them to either just after a conflict or not. Its a comparison, analysis and evaluation. You could do African American, but you could also consider womens rights.

    2. I dont like. Movies are films and not all of them attempt to be historically accurate.

    3. Is interesting and importantly it related to the degree you are interested in. I always think its a good idea to do something related so you can mention it in PS plus show your skills.

Always check they take EPQ into consideration as they arent always worth it imo.

I would also fish around for more titles by doing more reading. Your titles thus far were better than most and have potential.
