I'm more into pop stuff so here are my artist (and song) recommendations:

Amir (J'ai Cherché, On dirait, Au coeur de moi)

Aliose (Viens la nuit)
Louane (On était beau, Avenir)
Indila (Dernière Danse)
Vianney (Je m'en vais, Pas Là)

Christine and the Queens (Christine)
Tibz (Nation)

Most of these I have just found by listening to French radio (apart from Amir, who represented France in Eurovision a couple of years ago, and Louane, who was in the film La Famille Bélier which is pretty good). Try NRJ, Chérie or the webradios of Radio Lac online.
