Great news. did they contacted all three of them or just two? I just wanted to avoid further unnecessarily delay. I have a job offer from Amazon as well supervisor role. I am bit confuse if they expected to take long I can accept that role meanwhile . Plus have to give notice to current employer.

It was the same as you, I think the checks take around 4 weeks to complete, not sure how long before they give us a formal offer. Hopefully it’ll all be quicker.

I managed to get in touch with recruiters. Seems like we need to drop fresh documents as previous one out of date. We will be contacted when to drop those.

I thought I was the only one that got that email because at the time of the interview my passport was expiring soon and now they want to see the new one, luckily I renewed it, I hope it arrives before they ask to see it. Would hate to slow down the process

Just a warning do not give your notice to your current employer (At least for the HMRC customer service consultant role) until HMRC have given you a formal job offer with the start date as even if you've been given a provisional job offer + passed their background checks it can still take HMRC a while to provide a start date. Another person and I have been waiting for our HMRC job start dates for over 3 months despite being given provisional job offers and passing the background checks. I can provide more info if you want in private messages but just giving you a heads up.

Just received an other email.
You recently accepted a Conditional Offer for HMRC . As explained in that letter, you now need to complete your pre-employment checks.

Unfortunately, the documents you provided prior to your interview do not fully meet our requirements. You need to provide a Group 2, a list of eligible documents is attached.

We need you to bring in the identity documentation to, between Monday 2nd and Friday 6th March, between the hours of 09:00 & 16:00. The first thing you need to do is contact the Recruitment Team in the next 48 hours via email to confirm the time & date you intend to bring your documents to site.

I’m sure you’ll hear back from them soon, i’ve never heard anyone being on the reserve list and not get an offer, I know the waiting and not knowing what’s happening is the worst.
