SC9 Edexcel Calculations Involving masses

I really don't get this whole topic (except for relative formula mass)
Here are a few example questions that completely frazzle me:
1) The empirical formula for glucose is CH₂O and its relative formula mass is 180. Determine the molecular formula for glucose.
2) Calculate the mass of chlorine needed to make 53.4g of aluminium chloride.
3) 1.50g of ammonium chloride and 4.00g of calcium hydroxide are heated together to form ammonia.
a) What is the limiting reactant?
b) Calculate the mass of ammonia formed.
