Why do guys always go for a thin girl?

Take last night for an example, I was out in town with a friend and we saw some people we know from uni. I'm not a large girl, probably a size 12 and my friend is a slim size 8. I wouldn't say I was ugly, I have a cute face rather than one of these 'naturally pretty' people. And out of the four people we met, they all fancied her, and she even pulled a barman who wasn't working. One of the four, I was told liked me but he seems very happy dancing with my friend. I know my friend doesn't like him, but I now know he likes her! I got a bit pissed off. It seems like I'm invisible to any males while out. Any guy I like doesn't like me back, or likes my friend instead, which kinda annoys me.

Because thin girls are better looking?

Although having said that, you do see loads of these couples around which have a stick thin guy and a heifer of a woman, as if they're trying to make up for what they lack in build with their partner's overcompensation. Maybe if you target the lanky blokes you'll strike lucky?

I'm a really thin girl and hardly ever get a guy dancing with me. But everyone likes different shapes and sizes, the guys that would fancy you just weren't around at the time!

I know it's really upsetting because it bugs me but someone out there will think your hot.

Maybe they prefered her confidence or her personality? Her size probably had very little to do with it.

I doubt its not that shes thin there could be other reasons why those guys liked her.. but it doesnt mean everyone will. I'm a size 6/8 and some of my friends are 12/14 and I believe we probably get equal amounts of attention. We all find different people attractive.

I hate skinny girls size 12 is good and natural size, much rather be with size 12 than size zero, they are yucky. Curvier is much better than stick insect!

Aww I know how you feel. Me and my friend go out and she has all the guys attention on her and Im invisible standing next to her. Your mate isnt doing it on purpose. Have faith. There are guys that will notice you. Just make sure you aren't focusing on the guys after your mate and missing out on the guys interested in you.

You cant always judge on the size anyway you have to think about the persons height aswell as me being size 6/8 and 5 ft 1 is different from an average size or tall girl at thsat size obviously. I think that size suits my height.

Anyway, yeah this guy I like who turned out to have a girlfriend is quite slim himself and his girlfriend is about size 16/18 so there you go.. your size doesnt always matter!

I'm thin and I don't get many guys dancing with me.
My boyfriend says he likes me cos Im petite so probably its more to do with the fact that hes not very tall and doesn't want a girl nearly the same height as him.

Unfortunately some guys do try and go for thin, tall, naturally beautiful girls etc. But seriously...not all men are like that and on a night out looks seem to be the main thing, but those perfect girls arn't always perfect when you can properly talk to them. (Not saying that all the tall thin beautiful people are boring!)

It's all about whats within. Be confident and happy with yourself and who cares about men who are drawn straight to the thin girls, dyou think they are really boyfriend material?
