Cambridge and Other Options

Would it be possible to apply to Cambridge for Natural Sciences and dentistry for the other 4 options?
You could but your personal statement wouldn't apply to one as the modules are different. It's better to just have one general option as they are two relatively different courses...
Doubtful. I think it would raise several eyebrows if you apply to NatSci with a dentistry personal statement, even if you spent the entire SAQ writing about the NST, as they would immediately be questioning your commitment to the course from the start. They would also have to consider how likely you would be to accept an offer if they made it - why waste the time and money interviewing someone who is probably going to accept some other option since that course is obviously not the one they want to be applying to? As I understand this is partly why Biomedical Sciences and Human Sciences at Oxford specifically state they do not consider applications from candidates with medicine personal statements...

It also defeats the point of having candidates capped to applying to 4 med/dent/etc courses - to minimise the number of applicants who end up with no offers. The 5th course should be your "backup" in case you don't get offers for the others. Bear in mind for most people Oxbridge (Cambridge NST and otherwise) are there first choices when just putting together their application. There are very few, if any, who would consider Oxbridge to be their backup/safety/insurance.

There are plenty of general courses you could apply to with a dentistry statement, for example, BMS and related courses (physiology, genetics, pharmacology, microbiology) outside of those two unis broadly are the common option. QMUL also in particular has several dentistry focused courses outside of dentistry which may be of interest- such as Dental Materials, which is relevant to dentistry and draws on all the core science disciplines and thus may be similar to what you would get out of a Natural Sciences course, but more relevant to your sector of interest and your personal statement.
