Why Austria if you don't speak German ?

Actually I speak german, but only a little (and I would like to learn to speak better). And Vienna because I live something about 30-60 mins from there and I would be able to commute...

DeadLine

That's what I thought. I did some research, especially on the Vienna University of Technology 'cause of your sig, but they require a good level in German :s-smilie:

Yup, that's the problem. And I would love to train myself mainly in english, not in german (or better said, I want to speak english just like native and german fluently). But thanks for effort.
I am not sure about computing but I know how it is for economics. In the state universities there are only programmes in german and if you dont know german and you get in the uni you must study a semester or 2 the language in Vienna university and than continue in german. There are also American universities like webster but they are expensive and as far as I know they are not really good.

Oh well, I was afraid of that answer. Thank you anyway.

Pretty old thread, but could somebody tell me which private universities in Vienna are? Thanks very much

Hi
As the previous poster said there is the American private uni: Webster Uni
I don't know if they do computer courses though, lots of business stuff

There is also the Donau Uni in Krems, but that's in German as far as I know

Webster is expensive, probably cheaper to study in the UK if you really want to improve your English ;-)

Yeah, I checked Webster, they offer computer courses, but demand 13,500 euros yearly, so thanks, maybe in next life...
