Is Zionism/Zionist a political term ?

Zionism
ˈzʌɪənɪz(ə)m/
noun
1.
a movement for (originally) the re-establishment and (now) the development and protection of a Jewish nation in what is now Israel. It was established as a political organization in 1897 under Theodor Herzl, and was later led by Chaim Weizmann.

However this is just what google says by "definition". Some people say that you don't have to be Jewish to be a Zionist. Some say all Jews are zionists, therefore if you criticise Zionism/Israel/IDF/the Israeli government, then you criticise Jews (which understandably, equals Anti-Semitism)
But a popular line used by pro-Palestine protesters is "anti-Zionism isn't anti-Semitism/anti-Jew).
To what extent do you agree with this? And what's your opinion on this "matter"?
All arguments are welcome, just keep it civil
As you yourself acknowledged you don't have to Be Jewish to be Zionist.

But do you believe that all Jews are zionists ? And is Zionism a political or cultural/religious movement ?

All Jews are not necessarily zionists, indeed the more devout Jews are expressly anti-zionist.
As for whether it is cultural/political/religious it can be any of them depending on the context.
Most Jewish segregated schools that are all over the West teach about Zionism
