Well, Art is usally recommended at least, to show, well, artistic talent. I'd suggest switching Sociology or Psychology for that, if you're doing 3 next year. Otherwise I think the only one that's generally recommended is Maths, which you already have.

Maths, Art and Physics are the 3 my school used to advise budding architects to take.
my school just recommended maths - but my courses requested either art or design technology so i've done maths, graphics and english literature for the analytical side and got my 1st choice of uni no problems.... i've found they're v. keen on seeing ur portfolio - as all i've done is either take my portfolio for the uni to look at or sent pieces of work in...havent even had to have an interview!
Hello

I need some advice from those that have been accepted or are already studying architecture...
I am taking-
AS ENGLISH
AS COMMUNICATION STUDIES
AS ART
AS PHOTOGRAPHY

i will continue
A2 ENGLISH
A2 COMMUNICATION STUDIES
A2 ART
and will take up AS MATHS next year.

my predicted grades for my a levels are AABbb/c

i want to study architecture more art based, as am not doing physics or a2 maths.......which universities do not mind this?
has anyone not done maths or science and still got into cardiff, nottingham, sheffield, liverpool, manchester etc?
i also dont want to study in london- prefer a rural scene!

anyone have any advice?
thanks
Art Maths/Physics Geography History/English Li is the best combination for me.

to anyone doing architecture or applying, I have to pick my a levels now, I'm definitely taking;
MATHS
ART
but im not doing physics as I do not enjoy it and I dont think I'll do well and architecture needs high grades a lot of the time, I really enjoy BIOLOGY and RS, and biology is seen as a good subject so I think I will take biology as well. However, RS is soemtimes seen as a soft subject, should I take history instead (however, I may do worse in history and I dont enjoy it as much)
I'm starting college for A levels in September and so far i'm aiming to study Architectural Design
Photography
Geography
Physics

does anyone have any recommendations on switching any of these out for another subject?
