hey im jst in the middle of doin my first attempt at ps oh my god its so hard im applying for business and english courses but i dont no how to start writing bout eng...do i jst say i love books or wat????? :eek:

well, i don't know how to advise you on writing a ps for your course, but the my school told us to write it on this format:

1st paragraph - why you wanna do the course / books you've read
2nd - academic achievements
3rd - work experience (they advised us to take a whole paragraph for this)
4th - extra-curricular activities

my advice to you would be to make bullet points of everything you could include that cover the above topics....then put it into full sentences and you'll see it comes pretty easy....i think everyone will agree that the starting and the ending are the most difficult parts- so if you can't think of a good start, at least make all your sentences, and then disscuss it with your ucas tutor
