Which countries do you like the most on the basis of their laws and legal system. Any jurisdictions that you really don't like?

My favourites include US (constitution, federal law system) and Switzerland (cantons). I also like laws in the two countries.

what do you like about the US legal system?
Many things. First, it is clearly the product of the European enlightenment. I like the Republican jurisprudence (rule of law > popular clamour), individualism, separation of powers, codified constitution (nowadays we see how important it is to have freedom of speech/expression codified). This is what I like about the US legal architecture. Furthermore, I like federal law system, whereby different states are able to make a lot of local laws for themselves. This makes the country diverse and interesting.

None. Laws don't mean much if you are not big and rich.

Even the uncodified constitution? I think the UK could really do with codified constitution, especially nowadays.

EDIT: This being said, I appreciate British common law tradition, but I just think codified constitution in the American style would be useful to safeguard fundamental freedoms, such as that of speech/expression.

Not something that particularly bothers me, to be honest.
