GCSE sociology

hello i was just wondering if anyone could recommend me a good revision book for this subject, because i am finding it extremely hard and am not achieving my minimum target grade :mad:

I use Sociology: A New Approach, by Michael Haralambos, Frances Smith, James O'Gorman, and Robin Heald.

It's pretty good. You can get it on Amazon. It depends what spec. you are following though.

What areas of Sociology are you having trouble with?

It may not be very useful to you as a revision guide though, as it isn't simply a book of facts/concepts. Rather, there are loads of articles which are put in a sociological context, and many examples of case studies. It's an interesting read.

u should get the sociology A-Z terms from WHSmith is really useful when making notes

Try "Sociology for GCSE" by "Pauline Wilson" and "Alan Kidd." That's the one im using to revise at the moment with, however your choice is up to your likes and dislikes of the diffrent type of text books.
