    Hi

    In Biology we got set a homework of completing an exam paper, our teacher did not stipulate timed conditions and said we can use our notes. So i spent around three hours on it and went into great detail. However today my biology teacher banned me from classes and wants me to redo the test because she thinks I copied it from the mark scheme becuase its too good. What shall I do?

    I must add for the exam paper in question, the mark scheme is not avalible and has to be bought and even if I did have the mark scheme (which i didnt) my answer only covered two of the three points it talks about and it used different factors to what was on the mark scheme.

    I would really appreciate some gudiance on what to say to her.

    Thanks.

    You should talk to her about it and convince her that it was really your work. Could it be that something happened that cause your teacher to doubt you?? besides the fact that your work is very similar to the mark scheme.

    Would love to, i asked if i could not attend her lessons (waste of time anyways) and do the course on my own, but my other teacher said he would block me from entering the exams if I did this and not let me come his lessons. Any other ideas guys?

    Just redo the test. It's a bit drastic to suddenly decide to teach the course yourself when there's help on hand, regardless of how useless it it.

    I don't quite follow how you are banned from class? Is this to make you re-do the test?

    2 options:
    re-do the test;
    or appeal to the Head Teacher as your honesty has been impuned.

    Decide which is worth more to you: low profile (with a teacher thinking badly of you) or high profile and standing up for your academic prowess (which they should be applauding).
