I would imagine a lot of 'falling' for someone is to do with talking and conversations and stuff....
I think a kiss can say a lot.
If I kissed the guy and there was no chemistry or he wasn't very good or we just weren't good together, then I didn't think it would be anything to persue.
If he was a good kisser or I got butterflies, then I'd be wanting more!
Lol why would the effects of kissing have changed "these days", as opposed to in the past?

I don't know - maybe more couples jump straight into sex? That's what I take the OP's 'these days' to mean. :p:

I think the answer it that it depends on the couple though... sometimes kisses can be really meaningful. That's probably the more boring answer though!

Er, what? You can fall for somebody with a hell of a lot less, I can tell you.

Unless you mean that you never talk, just... kiss? :/

Yeah sure, I mean if people can fall in love online then surely a kiss could send you nuts about someone.

I read somehwere that when you kiss it releases chemicals/hormones and you can tell alot about you're won likelihood of sauccess with a partner by the kiss. The first kisses are apparenty differenmt to kisses you'll have about 6 months later, bceause the hormnes are different/you react differently to that person's hormones
