What have you tried? I've been using Seneca a fair bit - https://app.senecalearning.com/class...9-f7b314e82c3a - and then just doing as much practice questions as possible..

Does anyone have a specific structure for 9 markers 😬? I’m panicking, because we have the Unit 1 exam in about A WEEK, and I still don’t know how to write up a 9 marker and be confident that I got 9/9.

For now, I’m doing

Option 1
-Advantage, explained, applied (For the explanation, I do “BECAUSE [something from the case study, e.g. the employees are demotivated] AN ADVANTAGE OF THIS OPTION WOULD BE [...], AND IT WOULD LEAD TO [...]”)
-Disadvantage, explained, applied

Option 2
-Advantage, explained, applied
-Disadvantage, explained, applied

Evaluation
-State chosen option
-State advantage of this option, apply, explain and evaluate in the long/short term
-State a disadvantage of the other option, apply, explain, evaluate in long/short term- why it’s NOT a good option.

Also, my business teacher said that it’s important to keep asking yourself “So What?” until you get to “higher profit”.

For instance:

The business currently doesn’t get a lot of footfall; the case study states that there is an available space in a nearby retail centre ⇒ Because it’s in a retail centre, lots of people will see the store ⇒ higher footfall ⇒ higher sales ⇒ higher revenue ⇒ higher profit.

Then, in the evaluation, you will elaborate on that:

[...] however, the business has been at loss ⇒ they will need a source of finance to move to the new location.

If anyone has any advice for 9 mark Qs please share it because I’m panicking 😩
