A2 Eng Lit Coursework (HELP NEEDED ASAP!!!!!!)

I have to submit my A2 Eng Lit Coursework by the 15th of May but I am currently at a total word count of 3814 words. The word count has not really been specified by any of my teachers and they seem pretty lost so I am in serious need of some guidance, because the last thing I need is to submit it and have it be rejected/unmarked after a certain number of words... Thank you so much for any responses in advance!
