Scottish set text 10 mark question

So, recently I started preparing myself for last question in Scottish set text which is worth 10 marks. It's where you need to give commonality and then reference to another poem.
See, here is my question. I was taught this form of an answer:

2 marks: Explain the commonality
Quote 1 from given poem
Analysis from poem on the paper
Quote 2 from given poem
Analysis of it
And then the same 6 quotes and analysis of them but from different poem.
So I need to analyse quotes only from a poem I wrote about while explaining the commonality? Or I can just quote and analyse different poems but written by the same poet as long as they explore the same theme or whatever the question asks?

I'm not entirely sure myself.:s-smilie: Maybe best asking here...
