I'm looking at all the freshers stuff for 2018 and starting to get really excited but I'm not sure whether to pay for the parties and events I'm sure I'll go to or buy the freshers wristband when I get there that is £70. Any suggestions? What is everyone else doing?

I mean, only you can really answer that yourself. Add up the prices of the events you want to go to and see if it comes up to roughly £70 after taking into account the freebies you actually want etc.

The Wristband won't be £70 it'll be closer to £50-55.

Information on all of the Events & Wristband Release dates will be via the Facebook Page > https://www.facebook.com/dmufreshersweek2018/

You have a while to wait for freshers DMU. To be honest, I just go to the sobar events, as I don't drink. I'm going into my third year of uni.

I've been thinking the same thing but I think I'm going to get the wristband because it gets you into all of the students union parties as well as most of the independent parties. It will be easier to organise with new flatmates as well cause I'll have access to all the parties instead of individual ones that they might not have tickets for.

Yep & Wristbands also include a Freshers Bar Tour T-Shirt which is the highlight event of Freshers Each & Every Year! As I mentioned before just like the Facebook Page & Join the Group Chat to be the first in the know...
