How can I best prepare for IB HL math over my summer holiday and what are some prerequisites I should definitely have down. I will be transitioning from extended IGCSE Maths. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The key thing when transitioning to any advanced mathematics course - A-Level, Pre-U, IB, etc. - is to be really confident with your basic algebra, since you will be dealing with abstract problems that have a bunch of variables, so being able to manipulate these expressions and equations accurately is key.
