I just try to regulate my breathing. Slow and steady. Doesn't always work but usually it does.

ok...i forgot to say for how long:tongue:

and screaming in my book is better than constant hiccuping

I usually drink water from a cup around the wrong way or drink upside down, then hold my breath :biggrin:

I hold my breath for as long as possible. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't :s-smilie:

This works every time for me..
Get yourself a cup of water, stick your fingers in your ears and drink the whole cup of water in one go. Ask someone to hold the cup or if you're by yourself sort of use one shoulder to press your ear really hard with the other finger in your other ear if you get me
I often wonder if it's psychological rather than physical though... lol
