If I'm honest, my first question would be whether a distance learning course is worth it or whether you should study it independently, which maths is easily one of the best subjects for this purpose.

Unless you seriously need a teacher, it would be an option just to follow a textbook and use the internet (e.g. Youtube) for help with certain topics.

I think it's important to weigh up the pros and cons in a similar fashion.
