An argument for could be that you must understand his act of salvation on the cross (“he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins”) to believe you are saved.
Then against could be that the doctrine of the trinity is the mystery of faith and cannot truly be comprehended by us but Christians still believe it.
And another for could be that understanding him is easy and so belief comes through that as he was fully human so understood us and we can understand him (e.g. “the fellowship of his sufferings”).
Then conclude by summing up which argument you think makes the most sense or is the best.
