Stuck on Balancing electrons regarding half equations

The Question reads - Write a half equation for the formation of chlorine from chloride ions My answer is 2cl- ------> cl2 2e-It doesnt feel like im doing it correctly

you've the right idea and your electron placing is correct. but the chlorine atoms/ions on each side need to be switched - it goes from an atom to an ion (+ electrons).
so it would be: Cl2 --> 2Cl- + 2e-
