Looks suprisingly impressive... Actually expected it to be alot more conservative.

Would be nice if they give it the R32 V6 and the 4Motion AWD at some point though...

Looks like a Golf somebody very large sat on, but it's fairly aggressive. Similar to the old Scirroco really.

I think i will take the green car, lol!

See what you mean tho! So basically, VW have turned Japanese and copied other companies car design!

    I like it.

I only opened this thread, however, expecting to read about the original 'roccos.

Also, the outer ends of the headlamps looks a bit 206~ish. Bleugh.

they couldnt have made it look less lik ethe original if they tried.. not a fan personally, but then I tend to not like smaller hatchbacky type cars.. I'd rather have a corrado too

Old Scirroco ftw! this new one doesnt look very good. New car design on the whole isnt very good tbh, bar Audi who always seem to come up trumps.

I've liked the look of a Corrado VR6/G60 or a Mk 2 Audi Coupe for a while now, but there's no chance of me funding the insurance until I have another year NCB.

200bhp would have been enough if they didn't keep bulking modern cars up to almost 1500kg just for a golf.

it's growing on me the more I look at it I'll admit. its probably my dislike for hatches which is putting me off more than anything. the 200bhp shouldnt be a bad mover though..
