Keep diary.
ID trigger factors
Control them
Get medication and see the GP.

Prevention is better than cure.
Once an attack starts then unless you can get something like immigran or something that works you just have to let an attack go through its course.

Drink water. 90% of the time, it’s because you’re dehydrated.

Add lemon or eat any fruit with vitamin C helps too. I’ve heard rubbing lemon on your forehead helps too.

Massaging your temples to relax.
Meditate.
Exercise.
Don’t drink caffeine (it interferes with receptors in the brain, you over work your brain, and make it more tired > migraine)

Trigger factors are different for individuals. One persons triggers could lessen symptoms for someone else.

I tend to eat and drink something. There is a myth (ok, it's true for some as mentioned above) that cheese and chocolate make migraines worse. It's because most people reach for chocolate first. I personally find that mi migraines get worse before they get better.

I'll usually have something like toast and some water.

I take anadin (aspirin), codeine, nortryptiline and naproxen. Codeine works the best. I also have my daith piercing which ngl works an absolute DREAM. frequent migraine suffers get yourself a daith piercing it’s changed my life.

Other than that, avoid chocolate, caffeine and anything else that triggers you. Maybe think about contraceptives (not the combined pill as this may make it worse) as hormones can also affect migraine sufferers, as it sounds like it’s happening in your case.

Water and sleep is the most important. I've been having migraines since I was 4.
